According to Feature A09: Cleaning Products, part 1 of the WELL Core requirements, the project team must use cleaning products that are certified as low-hazard or safer by a qualified third party, such as Green Seal, UL ECOLOGO, or EPA Safer Choice1. This helps reduce the exposure of building occupants and cleaning staff to harmful chemicals and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) that can adversely affect indoor air quality and environmental health2.
